University of Aberdeen secures Turing Funding

The University of Aberdeen is pleased to announce that our bid for funding to support international opportunities for students via the new Turing Scheme has been successful.

Generally speaking, the Turing Scheme is being introduced to replace the UK's participation in the Erasmus Programme. The Scheme will be launched in 2021 for an initial funding period of September 2021 to August 2022. The Scheme offers funding to UK universities to support outgoing students on study exchange and work placements abroad. There is no funding to support incoming students or incoming/outgoing staff under the Scheme, in contrast to the Erasmus Programme.

In order to make the scheme as accessible as possible, additional support is available to disabled/SEND students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
