An exhibition in the Old Townhouse by illustrator Jonathan Williams helps bring the world to your kitchen in aid of Amnesty, Traidcraft and CAFOD
Jonathan Williams is an illustrator based in Aberdeenshire. The ‘World in Your Kitchen’ exhibition comprises 12 illustrations created for the New Internationalist's 2013 calendar, which features a vegetarian recipe each month from a different country and the accompanying monthly illustration is inspired by the food and/or country from which it comes. Jonathan draws using a touch sensitive display (the Wacom Cintiq) then colours and finishes his illustrations in Adobe Photoshop. Proceeds from the ‘World in Your Kitchen’ calendar will go to various charities including Amnesty, Traidcraft and CAFOD.
