The Sir Duncan Rice Library is now staying open 24/7 for assessments and exams.
There are a range of study spaces throughout the library allowing silent, quiet and collaborative study.
Floors 1-3 |
Collaborative study |
Floors 4, 6 and 7 |
Quiet study |
Floor 5 |
Silent study |
All floors have large banners reminding students what the expected behaviour is on each floor.
Additionally, there are Silent Study Rooms on floors 3 to 6 in The Sir Duncan Rice Library, all located on the south side of the building. If you are looking for a smaller space than floor 5 to silently work using your personal electronic device, you can choose any of the Silent Study Rooms on floors 3, 4 and 5. Please note that the Silent Study Room on floor 6 is a strictly silent working environment where electronic devices cannot be used. This is for those who wish to study with no disturbance.
Please remember that food is not allowed in all Silent Study Rooms!
Please help us maintain an environment conducive to study especially during this busy exam period, and act responsibly and respectfully towards your peers by observing the rules.
Good luck with your exams and assessments!
