The University of Aberdeen 2026 MBChB Graduates, who were awarded Elective Bursaries by the Society to facilitate their final year studies, will be invited to compete for the Adam Quaich by presenting their elective findings to the meeting with the audience selecting the winner.             <description><![CDATA[Due to essential maintenance that will likely be loud, it has been decided to close the Sir Duncan Rice Library completely on Saturday, 4 April.
There is never a perfect time to close the building, but as this work will be noisy and very disruptive for visitors, the decision has been taken to time this work during the Easter vacation and at a weekend to minimise the disruption. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
On that day, both the Taylor Library and Medical Library will be open from 09:00 until 22:00.]]></description>

Professor Gerald Lip is a leading figure in breast screening and medical innovation, holding key roles as the Clinical Director for Breast Screening in the North East of Scotland and is the current President of the British Society Radiology. He is also Scotland's first Head of AI in Medicine at the University of Aberdeen, in line with his work in integrating artifical intelligence into healthcare.

&nbsp;

Library staff need your help to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;an environment conducive to study, especially during&nbsp;times&nbsp;that our libraries are busy.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;All our library users are expected to act responsibly and respectfully towards their peers by&nbsp;observing&nbsp;the rules on noise, food&nbsp;consumption&nbsp;and general behaviour.&nbsp;
There are a range of study spaces in our library sites allowing silent, quiet and&nbsp;group&nbsp;study.&nbsp;
Particularly, in the Sir Duncan Rice Library we have the following arrangement:&nbsp;






Floors 1-3&nbsp;




Group&nbsp;study&nbsp;






Floors 4, 6 and 7&nbsp;




Quiet study&nbsp;






Floor 5&nbsp;




Silent study&nbsp;






All floors have large banners reminding users what the expected behaviour is on each floor.&nbsp;
