Below is a short list of companies which offer summer work placements, in areas not connected to science, to undergraduates. If you are considering a career outside your degree speciality after you graduate these may be of interest to you.
BP

For those of you considering a career in Accountancy this could be an ideal summer opportunity. PwC offer more than 600 highly competitive positions across all its lines of service.
