About

Biography

I am a rural GP working on the Isle of Coll in the Inner Hebrides on the Scottish West coast. I believe in the strength of rural communities and aim to strengthen and support these through my work.

My background is in General Practice (MRCGP 2021), international / humanitarion health (I worked for MSF in Ethiopia, Myanmar, Pakistan and Afghanistan) and Public Health (I completed a Masters of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine).

In 2023 I started as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen. My subject of research is the role of autonomy and candidacy in rural patients who are diagnosed with cancer.
