Famelab Edinburgh
On 8th December Mhairi Airken, Farr Institute Scotland PPI & Research Associate at University of Edinburgh (above: 2nd from left) took part in Famelab which is an international science communication competition. There were around 25 competitors in total and they all had 3 mins to speak on their chosen topic (Mhairi spoke about data linkage for health research). We are pleased to say that Mhairi was one of the four winners of this Edinburgh heat selected to go through to the Scottish final, which takes place at the National Museum of Scotland on Saturday 7th January as part of the NMS Science Saturday’s series of events.
