Sometimes we may need specific input and advice on a single issue or document from a study, or just need some quick email feedback. Some people may wish to get involved in our PPI work but do not have the time available to commit to the requirements of our Core PPI Group, and places in that group are limited. In order to get broader input into our research we also maintain a list of people who wish to be kept up to date with PPI and other research opportunities within the group; we call this our 'PPI Pool'.
By becoming a member of the Pool we will contact you from time to time to ask for feedback on a specific issue, or to offer an opening to other research opportunities within the group. There is no obligation on you by signing up, and all participation is at the discretion of Pool members. Pool members will also receive regular newsletter updates, keeping you up to date on research within the Epidemiology group and specifically any PPI work that has been carried out, including feedback from our Core Group meetings.
