Biography

I joined HSRU in March 2019 as a Trial Manager. My role involves day to day management of the CATHETER II study investigating if a weekly catheter washout (either saline or citric) can reduce the incidence of catheter blockage in adults with indwelling urinary catheters.

I graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2002 with first class honours in Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry. Prior to joining the unit, I have worked in a variety of research support functions in a technical and research coordinator capacity in the UK. I have supported a paediatric and adult neuromuscular biobank at UCL, an eye bank at St Georges' and most recently the TRACERx study (observational study in non-small cell lung cancer) and PEACE study (evaluation of solid malignant cancers collected posthumously) at UCL.
