Two summer interns recently began in HERU. We welcome, Amalia Pape and Gerald McQuade, who join Iva Parvanova who started earlier in July. The HERU internship programme runs annually in the summer and interns spend six weeks in HERU to gain experience working in health economics academic research. During her time in HERU, Amalia will work on the HEALTH trial, on a project on rural maternity care, and on a project on financial incentives for weight loss. Gerald will work on mapping the 12-item General Health Questionnaire to a utility scale and on a project on social prescribing.
