The HERU newsletter for January 2018 has been published. The newsletter highlights the award of the Queen's Prize for Higher and Further Education to the University of Aberdeen in recognition of the research undertaken at HERU, and at the Health Services Research Unit, over the past forty years. The newsletter also features:
- A recent conference given in recognition of our former director, Emeritus Professor Bob Elliott.
- The latest recipients of the Roy Weir Studentship and the Elizabeth Russell Fellowship.
- Recent events ran by HERU, including the annual DCE workshop, which ran for the tenth time in November.
- Events that staff have attended, including Professor Mandy Ryan's plenary presentation at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) 20th Annual Congress.
We also feature news of recent grant funding, including HERU participation in a project that will evaluate the impact of minimum unit pricing for alcohol in Scotland, new staff and recent visitors to the unit.
