Presentations followed by a roundtable discussion on the contribution of Scotland to the EU Post-2015 Development Agenda.
The roundtable will be opened by Humza Yousaf MSP, Scottish Government Minister for External Affairs and International Development, who will outline the Scottish Government’s current policies and programmes connected to the Post-2015 Development Agenda and how these relate to EU priorities for the agenda. Mr Yousaf will highlight Scotland’s approach and expertise in the fields of Sustainable Development and Private Sector Engagement, as well as the Academic Expertise which Scottish Universities and Colleges have developed in this area. Equally, Mr Yousaf will discuss Scotland’s unique development partnership model with Malawi which is founded upon a Government-to-Government Co-operation Agreement and Civil Society links between our two countries.
