The overall aim of the workshop is to broaden awareness of the gender dimensions in research design and operations, and to increase capacity to incorporate gender dimensions and issues into all aspects of the research process.
By invitation only.
By the end of the workshop, it is hoped that participants will have gained:
Increased awareness of the relevance and potential influence of gender-related issues in research work
Increased ability to identify the gender dimensions in any research topic and to incorporate these in the study design
Greater awareness of potential gender issues arising in preparing for and conducting field research and increased knowledge on how to address these issues in practice
