Work shadowing opportunities exclusive for University of Aberdeen students
The University provides a range of work shadowing opportunities for students throughout the year. Shadowing opportunities are generally for one day during a specified week in agreement with the business/organisation. Shadowing opportunities may be available during the semester or during vacations. Shadowing opportunities will normally be in-person but may be offered online.

ABDN Shadowing - 2024/25 Timeline
Monday 3rd February 2025: Applications open for 2 weeks
Sunday 16th February: Applications close
Monday 17th February: Shortlisting and selection takes place for 1 week
Friday 21st February: Selection complete
Tuesday 25th February: Induction session
w/c Monday 3rd March: Shadowing takes place during this week or w/c 10 March
Friday 14th March: Shadowing complete
