Kenny McIntosh is currently employed as Lecturer in Language Education and Employability in the School of Education, University of Aberdeen, and was recently appointed Partnership Liaison Co-ordinator: Capacity Building in the School of Education, a role that will focus on enhancing partnerships between schools, local authorities and the School of Education under the aegis of Curriculum for Excellence. He was a secondary school teacher for 18 years, for 11 of these as Head of English, and has been a lecturer in the School of Education for 12 years. For the last 4 years he served as joint Scottish co-ordinator of the Deloitte Employability Skills programme and this year has taken on the role of course co-ordinator of the University of Aberdeen Level 1 course in employability education titled, Learning From Work.
