International students whose high school curriculum does not map on to A-Levels and who therefore cannot be considered for 1st year entry have the option of taking a foundation programme in order to meet the University's academic entry requirements for undergraduate study. International students interested in our BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Oil & Gas Studies, BEng in Petroleum Engineering, or BEng in Chemical Engineering who cannot be considered for 1st year entry have the option of undertaking the Foundation Certificate for Petroleum Engineering offered by Kaplan International Colleges in Nottingham, UK. Successful completion of the foundation certificate allows students to progress onto the 2nd year of the above-named Engineering degrees.
