Postgraduate

Requirements will vary dependant on the ranking of the institution.

For State and Central Universities we would look for a minimum of 60% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 65% overall.

For Private and Deemed Universities we would look for a minimum of 65% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 70% overall.

While the above is a general guide we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc. among others. Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%.

Please note that for an LLM we will consider applicants who have attained 55% or better and decisions for those applicants will be based on a combination of their institution, their overall degree performance and any relevant work experience obtained following completion of the degree.

NB Your transcript should be your grade card or marks list, and should be non-consolidated, which means it should show the results for all subjects you have undertaken, not just the subjects you have passed
