Academic Technology Approval Scheme
Please note that overseas applicants for some Science, Engineering or Technology disciplines may require an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate. The ATAS certificate must be obtained before applying for a student Entry Clearance or VISA.
You can submit an ATAS application up to 6 months before the programme start date, even if the offer is still conditional.
