Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships (University's main UG scholarship scheme)

The University of Aberdeen is committed to attracting the very best students, regardless of their financial circumstances. Our Entrance Scholarship Scheme aims to help students to support themselves during their time at University and is funded jointly by the University and the generosity of our Donors.

  • Cormack Family Scholarship Fund - G2M – 2 available at £4,500 per annum
  • Ina Scott Sutherland G2M Scholarship – 1 available at £4,000 per annum
  • The Henderson Medical Scholarship – 1 available at £4,000 per annum
  • Aberdeen Medics G2M Scholarship – 1 available at £4,000 per annum
  • Medical Class of 1985 Scholarship – 1 available (award amount to be confirmed)

The Robertson Trust - Journey to Success Scholarships

Working in conjunction with the University, the Robertson Trust's Journey to Success Scholarship scheme helps promising youngsters to overcome financial and social barriers to gain the university education they deserve and the career they aspire to.

Jim Duncan Scholarships 2025

The Jim Duncan Scholarships were established in 2001 and each scholarship is valued at £4,000 per annum for the duration of your degree.

ICAS Foundation Nurturing Talent Programme

The ICAS Foundation Programme provides an all-encompassing range of support for students planning to study accounting or finance at university. It aims to support academically talented young people from family backgrounds with limited resources, who wish to attend university but may not have the means to do so without additional financial support.

Applications are now open and will close on Saturday 31 May 2025

University of Aberdeen Development Trust Sports Bursary Scheme

The Alumni Sports Bursary Scheme runs on an annual basis and exists to assist talented individuals to maintain their high sporting standards while in full-time study, supporting up to 20 Scholars competing at or close to National level per year.
