Virtual one-to-one Appointments

If you would like to chat with a member of the Go Abroad Team, then you can book a virtual one-to-one appointment where ever you are in the world. These are offered on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings (UK time).

Our appointments take place on Microsoft Teams. You can connect via your web browser on a laptop or PC. You may need to download the Teams app to access on a mobile device.

Experiences Abroad: As a child I spent a short time living in Singapore and Venezuela, both worlds away from northeast Scotland. Though I didn't study abroad while at university, I did try and travel at every opportunity. I have been fortunate enough to visit over half a dozen countries, with Italy, Norway and China being some of my favourites.

Experiences Abroad: During my undergraduate degree I studied in Germany and Italy, and I also worked in a ski resort in the French part of Switzerland. After graduating, I took the opportunity to travel to South America, New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia, and later my husband and I chose to get married in Cuba.

Experiences abroad: As part of my International Tourism Management degree, I participated in an optional semester abroad to experience US college life in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After I graduated I then spent a magical year representing the U.K. while working in Walt Disney World, Florida. I now like to take every opportunity to travel somewhere new such as recently participating in a training week in Cyprus.

Experiences Abroad: Originally from Vancouver, I immigrated to Amsterdam as a teenager and living there for six years. Having moved to Aberdeen for University, I went abroad to Hong Kong for a semester and have decided to stay in Scotland. Since moving to Europe, I have tried to take advantage of the ease of travel and have managed to visit 22 countries and counting!
