In Nov 2022 OpenAI released the new ChatGPT language model, taking the world by storm with it. Today, we are flooded by tweets and articles claiming ChatGPT is reaching human-level performance in many tasks. But what tasks? Is ChatGPT ready to assist (or replace) humans? In this talk, we'll cover three major examples that generated lots of echo in the media. We will go through the material and draw our own conclusions on whether ChatGPT is the next big thing or just another smart parrot.
