Each programme, delivered in English through our esteemed collaboration between South China Normal University and the University of Aberdeen, affords students an international educational experience that seamlessly integrates rigorous academic theory with practical application. Our dedicated Aberdeen-based teaching and research staff provide in-person instruction on the SCNU campus, ensuring a comprehensive, globally oriented learning environment. Computing Science at Aberdeen encompasses both the theory and the practice of computing with particular emphasis on developing your technical analysis, design and programming skills. You will study topics including software programming, databases and data management, computer systems, artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber security and learn to apply your programming and creative problem-solving skills to a wide variety of commercial, scientific and socio-economic contexts.
