Computational Net Zero and Biodiversity Group

The Computational Net Zero and Biodiversity Interest Group was formed to help businesses from Aberdeen and its surrouding area access resources, capabilities and expertise to help tackle the environmental challenges they face. The Group provides SMEs with access to experts from a broad range of academic areas to help companies meet their sustainability goals in line with Scotland's Net Zero targets.

If you are an SME (or other type of organisation) based in the North-East of Scotland, please reach out by completing the form below. The Group will provide a forum for discussing ideas, sharing knowledge in order to build purposeful, collaborative relationships between the University and industry.

Potential support to SMEs can include:

  • Partnering with the University to jointly apply for grant funding (e.g. through Innovate UK or the Scottish Funding Council)
  • Assistance with applying for Knowledge Transfer Partnership funding
  • Access to students for project work within your organisation
  • Consultancy
  • Continuous Professional Development opportunities for upskilling staff
