Learn about Cherokee art with UOACollections! Cherokee Nation artists Martha Berry and Karen Berry demonstrate the lost art and crafting techniques of their Cherokee ancestors using authentic techniques and materials. Joining them is researcher Lise Bos, who will show examples of Native American artwork from the University of Aberdeen’s collections. Together they will discuss how research in museums can revive lost cultural knowledge.
