University of Aberdeen Researchers attend IPDLC 2016
Catherine Fitton, a Farr Institute PhD student at the University of Aberdeen, attended the IPDLC 2016 Pre-conference workshops.
On Day 1, participants analysed personalised data obtained from mobile devices combined with publicly available data. On Day 2, participants developed their writing skills producing an engaging media article to introduce complex research concepts to a lay audience, under the guidance of Ms Pennie Taylor, a freelance journalist, broadcaster and health specialist.
Catherine, Dr Steve Turner and Dr Melanie Turner all presented research findings at the main conference.
