Structural Evolution and Damage in Fold and Thrust Belts

In September 2014 we ran a field workshop to the French Subalpine chains to show-case field analogues, exchange ideas of fold-thrust development and work on modelling these structures to predict damage.

The Pathfinder was supported by NPA-CGG and attended by delegates from industry. Over the course of a week structures in the Bornes-Aravis, Chartreuse and Vercors in the sub-alpine chain were investigated.

The workshop culminated in input into the design of F-TRG phase 1, that started in September 2015.
