Current Research

I am conducting interdisciplinary research pairing osteoarchaeology with the analyses of non-biological archaeological and historical material to better understand the social attitudes towards death in later medieval Scotland. Specifically, my research aims to investigate the impact of violence on the attitudes towards death through the analysis of skeletal trauma and corresponding historical evidence.
