This event will be attended by senior political figures. At this point we have Willie Rennie MSP and Kirsty Blackman MP confirmed to attend. In the last two years we have had other senior speakers including Ruth Davidson and Malcolm Bruce.
We are the oldest debating society in Scotland and the motion debated every year since 1848 has been be the age old proposition that "This House Has No Faith In Her Majesty's Government". Given the changing nature of the Scottish political landscape and the upcoming Holyrood election this year we will debate for the first time the motion "This House Has No Faith in the Scottish Government”.
