Join our innovative and partially self-led tour!

Heather Morgan of the University of Aberdeen and Andrew Sage of Coding the City for this exciting event! Inspired by the Cities of Ghosts exhibition running at the Sir Duncan Rice Library, this tour will let people explore George Washington Wilson’s Aberdeen and discover how things have or have not changed. You will be challenged to find your way as part of a team to different locations photographed by George Washington Wilson where you will discover the history and previous appearance of the building. After having captured a current photograph of the site and completed the trail you can learn about the route you have taken, the number of steps and the associated health benefits.
