The Problems With Our Bees - Inspired discussions in Aberdeen Art Gallery. A new series organised by the University's Public Engagement with Science Unit.

Four experts take inspiration from the 2011 Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition. The first event kicks off with Dr Alan Bowman  and a discussion about bees. Albert Einstein famously commented that if the bee disappears, Man would have no more than four years to live. Why are our bees dying and what can we do about it?

Held in Aberdeen Art Gallery fortnightly throughout the summer on the dates indicated. Tickets can be booked in person at the Art Gallery Shop or by calling 01224 523695. You can pay by card over the phone, or by card or cash in person. Admission £4 (£3) including refreshments. Booking essential

Each event begins at 7pm with refreshments served in the Gallery and an opportunity to view the featured exhibition before taking seats for the evening's talk.
