Café Light – Climate Change in the Spotlight

This is a past event

The University of Aberdeen along with the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses launch a new Café season from September – December.

In the first Cafe Light event, Dr Douglas Mair, Department of Geography and Environment, University of Aberdeen talks about climate change.  It’s never far from the headlines, but is the basic science getting across? Dr Mair will shine a light on the evidence from his 17 years working on glaciers in Canada, the Arctic and Greenland. Find out how hi-tech sensing and even post-war H-bombs tests offer clues to our shifting climate. Admission free, no need to book.
