An exhibition of dramatically striking images set to change our "tomorrow" is now on show for the public in Aberdeen.

Where Tomorrow Begins: Reflections of Scottish Innovation showcases examples of innovation taking place in Scotland’s universities which places them at the forefront of knowledge, research and technology to tackle the big issues of the 21st century.

Award-winning photographer Kirsty Anderson has captured the spirit of innovation taking place in Scotland’s universities in 40 beautiful photographs, displayed on a series of sixteen imposing cubes.

The exhibition, which is touring Scotland, is part of Scotland’s Year of Homecoming.

Two University of Aberdeen research projects feature in the exhibition, both of which have made headlines throughout the world: the breakthrough in treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease with the drug remberTM showing in clinical trials tnals that it can slow the progress of the disease by 81 per cent over a year, and camera technology developed by the University’s Oceanlab which gave the world its first glimpse of fish living deeper in the ocean than had ever been seen before.
