This is a past event

Fabric of the Land is an exhibition that aims to explore links between art and science, culture and business, the public and education.

The original brief encouraged established and emerging artists to submit new or existing artwork that considered the Scottish environment and landscape from a geological perspective. Having received over 50 submissions across a range of styles, we are now delighted to present these in a special exhibition which will take you on a visual journey within the Geology department at the University of Aberdeen.

The exhibition is open to the general public from the 2nd - 11th September. Opening times are Mon-Fri 1pm-7pm and Sat/Sun 10am-4pm.

Further information is available from the Fabric of the Land website.

Directions to the Geology department can be found in our Maps section.

The event is made possible with main sponsorship from Senergy as well as additional sponsorship from Sterling Resources, Dana Petroleum Plc, Simmons & Company Int, Nexus Ltd and Paul Binns.
