Snakes in the Bookshop is our next Cafe Scientifique event in Aberdeen's city centre.
Starting at 2pm on Saturday 15 August, Nick Martin of Martin's Beetles, Inverness, will be giving talks and hosting handling sessions involving a host of wonderful creatures including snakes, spiders and beetles.
The event is free, and will be located in the ground floor children's section of the Waterstone's in Union Bridge, Union Street.The session runs from 2pm through to 5pm however space restrictions will limit the number of people Nick can talk to at any one time. A selection of books will also be highlighted for sale on the day, complimenting the science and evolution behind the creatures that Nick will bring along.
