The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is visiting the University of Aberdeen to provide information about the variety of current international funding opportunities it has for researchers at all stages (from doctoral level students to academic staff) and open to all research areas to collaborate with researchers in Japan. They offer individual fellowships, funding for group level projects and institutional level collaborations to build international networks.

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is visiting the University of Aberdeen to provide information about the variety of current international funding opportunities it has for researchers at all stages (from doctoral level students to academic staff) and open to all research areas to collaborate with researchers in Japan. They offer individual fellowships, funding for group level projects and institutional level collaborations to build international networks.

Fellowships include short- and long-term options that can be taken flexibly throughout the academic year.

Multidisciplinary research is encouraged, and they have a programme exclusively for the Social Sciences called Open Research Area for the Social Sciences. 

The JSPS London members are the Director, Professor Naoto Kobayashi, Deputy Director, Dr Yumiko Myoken and International Programme Associate, Ms Yui Miyaura.
