Community history research in focus: the PATH project

Community history research in focus: the PATH project
-

This is a past event

Join Louise Henrard and Jakub Ivanecky (PATH/Grampian Regional Equality Council/Four Pillars) for a discussion about this community-led heritage project.

PATH is a two-year community-led heritage project exploring ethnic minority and queer community history in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Working with community researchers on the themes of solidarity and prejudice, the project rediscovered and recorded stories that weren't part of the current local history narrative. We will talk about the benefits and challenges of working with community members when undertaking research as well as sharing the project's latest research.

All welcome to come along to this informal discussion.
