Ensemble Marquise was founded in 2004 by the soprano singer-couple, László Blaskovics and Judit Felszeghy. Their repertoire is very broad, from very early music right through to Mozart. In the past 19 years they have performed 300 concerts, appearing in prestigious festivals, concert halls and castles throughout Europe. In 2020, they established their own summer music festival at Royal Palace of Godollo in Hungary.

In their concerts, Judit and Laszlo perform arias and duets for two sopranos with baroque chamber accompaniment. The harmonic combination of a male and female soprano voice provides a beautifully refined sound, and gives a unique musical experience.

In the programme called The Passion of Early Music they will show you a bouquet of their favourite arias and duets, moving back in time while dipping into different musical eras, with harpsichord accompaniment by Frauke Jurgensen. Come and enjoy the concert on the 2nd of February at King's Pavilion of University of Aberdeen
