Jazz in Education UK Conference  - Rail Strikes update   We regret to announce that the first Jazz In Education UK conference planned for March 19th and 20th in Birmingham is postponed due to more industrial action on the railways. We are immensely disappointed as this is the second time this has happened but wanted to announce the postponement asap so that trains and hotels can be cancelled if necessary.   We are now offering an online event on Sunday March 19th, from 10:30 - 12:30 and very much hope that you will be able to participate. Although frustrated, we are determined to maintain momentum and your good will. While we all prefer in-person to online, we will use some time constructively and hope that you will join us.   Contributors in the online event include:   Simon Purcell, Pauline Black, Duncan Mackrill, Guro Gravem Johansen, Issie Barratt, Corey Mwamba, Helena Summerfield, Michael Wright, Chris Morgan and Jimmy Rotheram.

Jazz in Education UK is supported by a range of partners including the University of Aberdeen; Guildhall School of Music; Royal Birmingham Conservatoire; University of Sussex; Worshipful Company of Musicians; Black Lives in Music, NYJO; NYJC; ISM; YMI; the F-List.
