Join us for the reveal of a recently commissioned portrait and a talk in celebration of Dr Jeannie MacLeod's life and incredible achievements.

Dr Jeannie MacLeod (1874 – 1902) was the second ever female graduate of the University of Aberdeen’s Medical School, graduating in 1902 shortly before her tragic and premature death. Jeannie was a pioneer who helped pave the way for future women doctors; her remarkable talent set a precedent not only for equality but for how successful women could be.

There will also be the opportunity to hear a short talk with the artist Richard Greaves and with family member Dr Bob Clarke.
