Founders' Day Chapel Service - Online & In-Person Event
-

This is a past event

On Founders' Day we pay tribute to our historic origins as an ancient University, and we light a candle to give thanks for the vision of Bishop Elphinstone and our patron fathers.

The service will be conducted by University Chaplain, Rev David Hutchison, and the sermon will be given by The Rt Hon Lord Wallace of Tankerness QC (Jim Wallace), the current Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

The service will be streamed live online and there are also some seats available for guests in the Chapel if you would like to join us in person. If you would like to come along for the service and a cup of tea afterwards you can book a place here before Tuesday 8 Feb

Booking is essential so please complete this form if you would like to attend, places are limited.

The service will be live-streamed on the day in the box below for anyone who wishes to watch it online or you can click here to watch it on YouTube.
