What Does the Fox Say?

This is a past event

This event is part of Being Human - A Festival of the Humanities

Do you know your animal neighbours? Whether you are a country bumpkin or live in town, wildlife is all around us and its stories are just waiting to be heard! Watch a short film of a storytelling walk, where you will get to know the Sunnybank Park fox and some of its friends. You can then follow in the walk’s footsteps to see the animals that call the park their home with your own eyes.

When you head to Sunnybank Park, why don’t you bring along your camera and take part in our wildlife photo and caption competition? Send us your best animal photo taken in the park, along with a short caption, to win a great prize. Can you take the best photo, write the funniest caption, and outfox your competitors? Let your imagination run wild!

This event is part of the series ‘Alternative Aberdeens: Past, Present and Future’ organised by the University of Aberdeen in partnership with Friends of Sunnybank Park; Grace Banks (storyteller and outdoor-discovery facilitator)

This event is suitable for families and children aged 8+.

Competition T&Cs apply. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact the organiser Helena: Helena.ifill@abdn.ac.uk

ACTIVITIES WILL TAKE PLACE BOTH IN-PERSON (SOCIALLY DISTANCED, AT A TIME OF YOUR CHOOSING - GROUPS OF ONE HOUSEHOLD ONLY) AND ONLINE.
