Abstract of the presentation: ‘About 60% of me wants it to happen’. Health researchers talk about their experiences of patient and public involvement. I will present findings from a qualitative interview study with 36 health researchers and research managers talking about their experiences of patient and public involvement; their attitudes towards it; what they value and what they find difficult; how it has changed the way they approach their work.
