Immortal Data: From Ancient Egypt to Facebook and beyond

Join Dr Heather Morgan, Neil Curtis and Andrew Sage to explore how our personal data is captured, how it is used and the question of our consent in this prominent and thorny issue.

The event will involve an interactive game about personal data, a debate and examples of use of personal data from ancient Egyptian mummy of a woman called Ta Kheru to Henrietta Lacks in mid-20th century America and beyond.
