As part of Scottish Maths Week Dr Attakrit Leckcivilize, from the University of Aberdeen will be telling us all about how fun and useful maths is.
Dr Attakrit Leckcivilize will show how Maths is used as a practical tool to help structure your thoughts and answer real world questions. There will even be some Maths quizzes for you to try.
The ideas and examples discussed are drawn from Attakrit's work experience as an economist working on labour and health related issues.
On entry to the Science Centre you will also have access to our brand new 'Seeing the Universe in All its Light' exhibition and show - explore the world of telescopes and UK research!
This talk is suitable for people aged 16 and over, no booking required. Entry to the Science Centre and this event is £5.75 16+ or £4.50 concessions.
