Best available techniques to prevent and minimise emissions from cement plants

Best available techniques to prevent and minimise emissions from cement plants

This is a past event

Dr Harald Schonbergers background is in environmental engineering and science. He has been working in the field of industrial pollution prevention and control for almost 30 years, as a permit writer and inspector for large industrial installations, a regulator at National and European levels and as an independent international consultant.

Reflecting the Reference Document on Best Available Techniques for the Production of Cement, Lime and Magnesium Oxide, new findings will be presented with respect to co-incinerating waste-derived fuels and waste-derived raw materials. The focus will be on minimisation of emissions to air as they are most relevant in this sector. This also covers the state-to-the-art in online monitoring and approaches to evaluate the data with respect to continuous environmental improvement
