Alistair will focus on three of UNA-UK's most important policy areas, namely, securing human rights for all, safeguarding international laws and norms and achieving an effective United Nations.
Alistair is a prominent Liberal Democrat MP and is a former student at the University of Aberdeen where he completed his LLB. Alistair has been MP for Shetland and Orkney for the past thirteen years and is Deputy Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats. He is also Chief Whip to the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Chief Whip to the Government.
