This is a past event
The theme will be to introduce you to film in Rwanda and to spotlight the Rwanda Film Festival also known as Hillywood (because it spreads its net over the 1000 hills of Rwanda) which has established itself as the one of the country's most important cultural events and also one of Africa's most prestigious festivals.
We will be screening some exciting and amusing shorts and also some excerpts from longer feature and documentary filmsAside from that we plan to have a short session at the end of the meeting for RwSA members to give two to five minute presentations of news about Rwandan projects they are involved with.(Please let Didier Rubayiza <rubayizad@yahoo.fr> know if you want to take up one of these)
