Biography
Alyson Young is a lecturer in Education and Programme Director of the one-year Professional Graduate Diploma in Primary Education. She previously spent 15 years as a primary teacher in the northeast of Scotland. Alyson’s Masters thesis explored inclusive assessment practices in Higher Education and her current interests focus on inclusion within Higher Education, particularly supporting neurodivergent students in Initial Teacher Education, as well as a desire to continually improve her own languages teaching pedagogy.
