Install specialist University software
The University of Aberdeen Software Download Service allows students and staff to download licensed software onto personal computers at no cost.
Accessible via direct link, the MyIT Portal, or through Toolkit, it provides software like SPSS, NVivo, Solidworks, MATLAB, ArcGIS and NVivo, including necessary license codes and installation guides for PCs, Macs, and Linux.
Some items in the Software Download Centre have a quickstart video on this resource, and for many others there are associated Toolkit resources, which include training videos, guides and further support - a full list can be found in the Links section of this resource.
