What is ERDAS Imagine?
An industry-standard remote sensing and geospatial data authoring software used to process, analyze, and extract information from satellite, aerial, and drone imagery. It combines powerful image processing, photogrammetry, and radar analysis into a single platform, allowing users to map land cover, track environmental changes, and analyze terrain. Key features include advanced multispectral classification, automated orthorectification, and a visual Spatial Modeler that lets you build complex analytical workflows without writing code.
How to access ERDAS Imagine
Licenses can be requested by sending an email request to servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk with the
Subject: "ERDAS Imagine Single Use License Request" and your name and phone number.
Once your activation code has been received, you can follow the instructions in the video or guide to install the software to your personal computer through the Software Download Service.
